Hello all! Okay, a friend of mine, Nicholas Terpstra, has entered a contest for the chance to audition for Rent on Broadway, and he needs your help. The contest involves submitting a one-minute audition video to the official Rent site (the link will be provided at the end of this blog), and the winners for each part are decided by the number of votes they get. Nic is amazing, and has recently toured North America as Clifford the Big Red Dog (he was the front half of Clifford!), and is currently doing a production of Little Red Riding Hood here in Toronto (he’s the Big Bad Wolf). He’s always been my favourite singing partner (I named Nick in Charlie’s series after him, and he’s a lot like Cooper, too), and we even entered a contest together when we were younger. Anyway, like I said, he deserves all the votes he can get, so I’m asking my readers to help out and vote for him. Please check out his video, he’s trying out for the role of Mark (Anthony Rapp’s role in the original show), and I think he’s perfect for it.
