Blog #5: A Disruption in ‘Some Scars Never Heal’
Since tomorrow is Saturday, and since that’s the planned day for an update on ‘Some Scars Never Heal,’ I thought I’d update everyone that tomorrow’s post will be the last one for 2 weekends. I will resume posting updates on Saturday, October 27, 2007, when things settle down a bit here.
The reason for the hiatus is the new show I’m working on with the local community theatre. ITOPA (Ingersoll Theatre of Performing Arts) is putting on Ivan Menchell’s ‘The Cemetery Club,’ opening Friday, October 12th, and running until Sunday, October 21st. I’m Stage Managing this production, and as it’s a cue-heavy show, with lots of lighting effects and scene changes, I’ll be running ragged during each performance, trying to keep everything straight. Because of this, I won’t have the time to write that I would like to, and so I don’t want to promise updates and then disappoint everyone.
In the meantime, I’m going to be re-posting the original versions of Charlie’s stories. I’m not having any luck re-writing them, so I want them to be available to my readers in their original forms, with Orlando and Adam as part of the series. I’ll continue to edit them myself, to get them ready for publication, though. I’m posting the original stories with their original titles (’We Knew It Was Coming,’ ‘Who Knew,’ and ‘Expect The Unexpected’), and the edited versions under the new titles (’As Long As You’re Mine,’ ‘Far Away,’ and ‘Keep Holding On’), just to avoid confusion.
Anyway, I hope you’ll all continue reading (and commenting on) Peyton’s story when the updates start again. Thanks for checking the site, and for taking the time to read my ramblings, I do appreciate it. Take care!
